Diesel South Africa Licensed to Reviva Technologies (Pty) Ltd: Refer a Friend to win Diesel EarPods Competition August 2023 Terms & Conditions

    Entry

  1. Entry into this Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  2. The Competition is open to residents of South Africa (“SA”) aged 18 and over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, their agents, or anyone professionally connected with the Competition.

  3. The Competition is free to enter.

  4. To enter the Competition entrants must:

    a. STEP 1: Customer receives SMS or Email about the campaign. It will also be promoted on social media and instore.

    b. STEP 2: Customer clicks on the link provided in the communication or scan the QR code on the artwork in store. Customer is taken to a landing page with details on the campaign and relevant form to enter email addresses

    c. STEP 3: The Giver inputs his name and email address

    d. STEP 4: The giver opts in for marketing communications

    e. STEP 5: The giver inputs his friends (Receiver/s) name and email address. If the giver submits one friend, he/she will be entered into the lucky draw for one (1) of the two (2) prizes. If the giver submits more than one friend, he or she will be entered for the lucky draw for the grand prize (as stated in the below clause)

    f. STEP 6: Giver submits the form and is redirects to a Thank you page. The Giver receives a thanks email confirming his submission.

    g. Step 7: The Friends/s gets an email to be notified they have been referred and can also enter for the competition through a CTA to the landing page. For the friend to opt in for marketing they will need to scan or click through to the competition entry page to enter and opt in

    h. STEP 8: The referred friend follows the same steps from STEP 3

  5. All entries made on the DIESEL Competition ENTRY page between 09:00:00 SAST on 1 August 2023 and 23:59:59 SAST on 31 August 2023 will be entered into the draw. Any submission received after this date will not be considered.

  6. To enter, entrants must have a valid email address.

  7. The Promoter reserves the right not to accept entries from any entrant who fails to satisfy the entry criteria set out above and/or who it perceives to be unsuitable to enter the Competition for any reason.

  8. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete entries or entries that are not received for any reason. Incomplete entries will not be considered.

    9. Winner Selection and Prize Process

  9. One (1) winner (“Winner”) and his/her first receiver (“Friend”) will be selected at the end of the competition to win, from a lucky draw and will be facilitated by Reviva Technologies nominated legal representatives 7 working days after the competition has ended.

  10. There is a total of two (2) DIESEL EarPods valued at R2,000.00 each. One for the winner and one for the receiver.

  11. The winners selected are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  12. The Winners and friends will be notified by DIESEL South Africa via email and or telephone within 7 working days after the competition has ended.

  13. The Winners must confirm their acceptance of the Prize 7 days after the winners have been contacted. After acceptance the prize will be couriered to the address provided by the winner.

  14. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to request any information deemed necessary to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of the Winner.

  15. A Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize if:

    i. The Winner cannot be contacted or does not confirm their acceptance of the Prize within 7 days after being contacted

    ii. The Winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions; or

    iii. The Winner fails to provide any required information for the purposes of allowing the Promoter to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of the Winner; or

    iv. The Winner declines the Prize.

  16. If the Winner is deemed to have forfeited the Prize the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner from the remaining valid entries and the Promoter may do so in its sole discretion.

  17. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to replace any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control makes it necessary to do so.

    18. General

  18. With the consent of the entrants DIESEL South Africa may process their personal data for the purposes and administration of the Competition which includes the publication of the name. Such data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.

  19. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions, and hold void, amend, cancel, or postpone this Competition without liability upon the occurrence of events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

  20. The names of the Winners will be made available on request for 30 days from 1 September 2023.

  21. The entrant acknowledges that DIESEL does not accept any liability whatsoever for any damages which may be incurred as a result of participation in the Competition.
