Once again, the show preparation was revealed live. Glenn Martens inaugurated the practice of granting uncensored access to the behind-the-scenes process last season, bringing fashion to a more democratic and larger audience.
It's a collection all about elevation. We've pushed the fabric innovation making the impossible possible. Denim is treated and distressed with extra-long fringing embroidered. Denim, jaquard and knit are reimagined using a double loom, lasered to seem destroyed. Prince of Wales checks are printed on PVC and then cut into garments. Archival Bandanas have been reused, coated onto pleated fabric then cracked open. There are seasonal interpretation of Play bag and Scrunch D. The eyewear collection is the first developed with new licensee Luxottica.
